Accessibility statement
Plain-English draft, not legal advice. We wrote this ourselves to say clearly what we do. It wasn't written by a lawyer, and it should be reviewed by one before anyone relies on it. Last updated 4 October 2026.
Free games aren't much use if you can't play them. We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA on this website, and we try to give the games the options we'd want ourselves. We haven't had an outside audit yet.
This website
- Works with a keyboard alone: there's a "skip to content" link, a visible focus outline, and no keyboard traps.
- Text and background colours are picked for strong contrast (dark ink on paper, pale text on the night-blue wall).
- Real headings, labels on every form field, and status messages that screen readers announce.
- Every screenshot has a text description. The trailer has captions and a full transcript, and never plays by itself.
- Respects your device's reduce motion setting (the slightly crooked paper straightens up, and nothing moves), and its high-contrast preference.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout reflows on narrow screens. Buttons are at least 44 px tall on touch screens.
- No captchas, no time limits on forms (beyond a few seconds' anti-bot pause), and no flashing content.
CLOSED CASKET
- Fully remappable keys for both local players, gamepad support, and touch controls with large tap targets.
- Subtitles and adjustable caption size; dispatcher subtitles on by default.
- Reduce motion and Photosensitive mode (no blinking, no screen shake).
- Colour-blind-safe cues: every player has a shape marker as well as a colour, and traffic lights also show words.
- Separate volume sliders for music, effects, ambience, dispatcher voice and crew radio.
- Solo mode with Dale, if playing with others in real time is hard.
What isn't great yet
- The game itself is drawn on a canvas, so screen readers can't read the action. Menus are regular buttons, but the play is visual and needs quick reactions.
- There's no difficulty or slow-speed option yet.
- The paper-and-tape style uses slightly rotated cards; if that bothers you, turn on "reduce motion" in your device settings and they straighten out.
Tell us
If something here or in the game doesn't work for you, please tell us through the contact form or the feedback form. Describe the problem and the device or assistive tech, if you're happy to (no personal details needed). You'll get a ticket code to read our reply.
