Put it on your phone
CLOSED CASKET runs in your phone's browser. There's no app store and no account, and it's free. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like any other app, with the same rooms as the PC crew. Pick your phone:
iPhone & iPad: Add to Home Screen

Open criticalgaminghub.com/play/ in Safari. -
Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up. On iPhone it's at the bottom (or behind ⋯). On iPad it's at the top. -
Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen. -
Keep the name or shorten it, then tap Add in the top corner. -
Open the game from the new icon on your home screen. It runs full-screen, without the browser bars.
Chrome on iPhone or iPad works too (iOS / iPadOS 16.4 or newer): tap the Share button in the address bar, then Add to Home Screen. On older iOS versions, use Safari for this step.

Open criticalgaminghub.com/play/ in Chrome, then tap the ⋮ menu (top right). -
Tap Install app. Some phones say Add to Home screen instead, and then Install. -
Tap Install. The icon lands in your app drawer and on your home screen. Installed this way, the game opens sideways and full-screen.
Samsung Internet: menu ≡ › Add page to › Home screen. Firefox: menu ⋮ › Install (or Add to Home screen). Any of these work; the game is the same.

Prefer a real app file? This is the same game, with the same rooms and saves, packed as an Android APK. It isn't on the Play Store. You download it from us and install it yourself ("sideloading"). If the steps above work for you, you don't need this.

SHA-256: posted here when the APK is ready
The APK is still being built. It will live on the same file host as the PC downloads, and the button above switches on once it's up. Until then, the Install app steps give you the exact same game.

On your phone, tap Download the APK above. When it's done, tap Open (or find it in Files › Downloads). -
Android will ask first. Tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source for your browser, then go back. -
Tap Install, then Open. Afterwards you can switch "Allow from this source" off again. We'd suggest it. -
If Play Protect warns you, that's because the app didn't come from the Play Store. Check the SHA-256 first, then tap More details › Install anyway.
Check the file is ours
Compare the file's SHA-256 checksum with the one shown above. If even one character is different, don't install it. On a computer:
- Windows:

Why the warnings?
Android warns about every app that doesn't come from the Play Store. The warning doesn't mean ours is broken or harmful, and it doesn't mean it's safe either. That's what the checksum is for.
Only get the APK from this page. We'll never ask you to install it from a chat link, a mirror or a "mod" site. Our games are free, so there's nothing to crack.
Tips for the night shift on a phone
- Turn the phone sideways. The game only plays in landscape. If it stays upright, check that your phone's rotation lock is off.
- Sound on. On iPhone, the ring/silent switch (or Silent mode on the Action button) mutes the whole game. If the switch shows orange, flip it. Then turn the volume up. The game sounds are half the jokes.
- Crew radio (voice chat) is off until you switch it on. Your phone asks for the microphone only at that moment, never before. Say no and the rest of the game works the same. You can take it back any time in your phone's settings.
- Same rooms as everyone. Phone, browser and PC players join the same 6-letter room codes. Everyone just needs the same version, which is shown on the title screen.
Updating
- Home-screen icon (iPhone, Android): it updates itself. Open it while you're online and you get the newest version. If the game says "Update your game!", close it completely and open it again.
- APK: there's no auto-updater. When a new version is out (see What's new), download the new APK from this page and install it over the old one. Your settings stay. If Android says the app "conflicts" with an existing one, uninstall the old one first. That resets your settings on that phone.
Removing it
- iPhone / iPad: press and hold the icon, tap Remove App (or Delete Bookmark), then confirm.
- Android (installed from Chrome): press and hold the icon, then Uninstall (or App info › Uninstall).
- Android APK: Settings › Apps › Closed Casket › Uninstall.
- Your settings and progress only ever live on your phone, so removing the app deletes them too. We don't have a copy.
