Update log: Closed Casket 0.1.4 and Who Sits Where 0.1.1
The small fixes we've been testing since 0.1.3 are now in the live games: in the browser, in the PC downloads and in the Android APK. If you play in the browser, just reload. The game updates itself, and your saves stay put.
Closed Casket 0.1.4
The title screen now says ALPHA 0.1.4. The 3D mode is 3D 0.1.1. These changes are in 3D. The 2D game plays the same as 0.1.3.
- Brighter 3D nights. The streets and the garage are easier to see, especially the garage on night 2, and it still feels like night. (Fri 16 Oct)
- Follow my device's reduce-motion setting. A new switch in Pause › Settings, the same one 2D already has. It's on by default, so if your phone or computer is set to reduce motion, camera shake and the fail slow-mo turn off on their own. (Wed 14 Oct)
Online co-op: everyone in a room needs the same version, so update your download or reload the browser before you join friends. 3D is still offline with bots for now.
Who Sits Where 0.1.1
- Clearer hints. How to play now says a Hint seats one guest who is in the wrong seat or still standing, and that it goes on The Paperwork as a hint, not a scandal. The Hint button says the same when you point at it or use a screen reader, and the message after a hint says it was noted. (Tue 13 Oct)
- Clearer Undo and Clear table. How to play explains that Undo takes back your last seat change (Ctrl/Cmd+Z works too) and Clear table stands everyone up, and that Undo puts them back. The buttons say the same when you point at them or use a screen reader. (Thu 15 Oct)
Also on the website this week
- The feedback form lets you pick which game your note is about.
- A "Found a bug?" note on the home and games pages.
- Small updates has a "Jump to a day" list.
Still on the fix list
- Closed Casket 3D: taking a job at the job board can make the casket disappear.
- Closed Casket 3D: online co-op is still off, and 3D can get heavy on phones while driving.
